James W. Jesso is a Canadian author and public educator who is dedicated to helping engender regenerative, accessible, and public discourse on socially outcast and taboo subjects.
He has authored numerous articles, essays, and videos, done radio, podcasts, print interviews, and toured across the world giving lectures and facilitating public discussions on a variety of subjects. Jesso has given over 40 public presentations since the start of 2013. Most recently, he has taught in Peru on plant-based psychotherapy while touring the jungle, studying and exploring the use of Shamanic Medicines as useful tools in spiritual exploration. His recent research and powerful presentations on Conscious Relationships has attracted global attention as a major contribution to the evolution of human relationships.
He has published two books, Decomposing The Shadow: Lessons From The Psilocybin Mushroom (2013) and Soundscapes & Psychedelics (2014). His third book, The True Light Of Darkness, is a deep and vulnerable look into the entheogenic experiences that brought him out of depression and into his creative passions. It is scheduled for release in the summer of 2015.
